Third Saturday each July
10am – 5pm
rain or shine
Follow the Great River Road, which runs along both sides of the Mississippi. If you’re traveling from the Minnesota side of the river, cross at either Red Wing (we’re 18 miles down-river on Wisconsin State Highway 35) or Wabasha (take Highway 35 at Nelson and come up-river 11 miles).
NOTE: there is a FREE parking area with a continuous shuttle on Mill Street, about 3 blocks north of Highway 35 and just up the hill from the art fair (there will be abundant signs). There is also limited $10 parking next to the art fair on the southwest side of 35, as well as handicapped parking.
The seventy-mile Lake Pepin ‘circle route’ is a fabulous drive, with historical markers, scenic overlooks and other attractions set in and between the charming river towns of the Mississippi River valley.
Formed by the delta of Wisconsin’s Chippewa River, Lake Pepin is a 28-mile-long, three-mile-wide natural waterway that is part of the Mississippi River.
